When considering a potential therapist,

credentials and special training are important. Ultimately, what helps people to heal and

grow is a trusting relationship and positive connection between therapist and client.

As a psychotherapist, I create a warm, safe environment in which clients feel listened to

without judgment and responded to in a compassionate and genuine way. My

approach is to work collaboratively with clients to build on their strengths and

help them discover their own solutions to leading a happier life.

I work with adults and adolescents experiencing:

Substance Abuse

DMV/legal issues

Family and personal relationship difficulties

Academic and/or occupational stress

Domestic Violence

Veterans Issues/MST

My approach is flexible and eclectic, drawing from a variety of theoretical frameworks, including relational, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and solution-focused.

I have a warm, interactive style which encompasses teaching, problem solving, highlighting client strengths, and most importantly, empathetic listening which enables my clients to feel deeply understood as they share their stories. Entering therapy shows strength, courage and a commitment to change.

To look inside oneself is not always easy, but is always worthwhile.
